What we keep, and what we don't.

What we collect

Only what you type. The contact form asks for a first and last name, an email address, and what you're curious about, because we can't answer you without them. A phone number, how you heard about us, and your message are optional, and the form works without them.

The footer's waitlist asks for an email address and nothing else.

We run Google Analytics, and nothing else. It tells us which pages get read and roughly where people arrive from, so we know which parts of this site are doing their job. It sets a cookie to do that. We don't run advertising pixels, we don't run session recorders, and we have not linked this site to Google Ads or to any advertising audience.

What Google Analytics reports back to us is counts, not people: pages, referrers, a country and a rough city, a browser. It does not carry your name or your email, we never send it anything you typed into a form, and we don't try to match it against an enquiry. Your IP address is used to work out that rough location and is discarded — Google does not store it.

If you'd rather not be counted, every major browser has a Do Not Track or tracking-protection setting, and Google publishes an opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout that switches it off across every site that uses it. Nothing on this site behaves differently if you do — there is no wall and no reduced version.

Why we have it

To answer you, to arrange a tour, and to keep track of a conversation that might run over several weeks. If you ticked the mailing list, also to send you the occasional note about what's happening at Apricity.

That's the whole list. We don't build profiles and we don't score you.

Where it goes

Into our CRM, which runs on Notion, and into the inbox at hello@apricityhub.io. Both are covered by their providers' own terms; neither is a data broker and neither gets your details to use for their own ends.

The site itself is hosted on Netlify, which keeps ordinary server logs. We don't log anything you typed: no name, no address, no message body. The logs only show whether a submission succeeded or failed.

The analytics described above go to Google, on their own terms, and are held on their servers outside Canada. That stream is entirely separate from your enquiry: it is page counts, and nothing you typed into a form is ever part of it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent, trade, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

An enquiry stays in the CRM while the conversation is live and for a reasonable period after, so we recognise you if you come back. Ask us to delete it and we will.

Mailing list subscriptions last until you unsubscribe. Every note we send carries a one-click link to do that, and it works.

Your say over it

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@apricityhub.io and we'll answer. It's the same inbox and the same people who answer everything else.

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA federally, and BC's Personal Information Protection Act) those are your rights, not favours. If we've handled something badly and you'd rather not raise it with us, you can take it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or to BC's Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner.

Changes to this page

If what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. We won't quietly widen what we collect and leave the old words standing.
